Welcome to Personal Records Podcast

Hi and welcome to the Personal Records blog. This space will serve as the hub for all things Personal Records. New episodes will drop here every couple of weeks along with show notes, playlists and more. Of course you’ll be able to subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher and all the usual places, but I hope you’ll frequent the blog too, as I’ll have more content here.

I’m really excited about this show. I’ve had a love for music for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of lying on the living room floor, listening to my Mom’s Amy Grant and Twila Paris records. As I got older I would scrape together what money I had earned to buy cassette tapes, then CDs. There are hundreds of albums that I’ve loved over the years, each one with it’s own story and impact on my life. When I listen to them I think back on what was going on in my life at that time. There are albums that remind me of great times, some that helped me through rough times and others that helped me think about the world differently.

I know that I’m not the only one that has this deep connection with music, which is why I started Personal Records. I’ve enjoyed learning new things about friends through these discussions. I’ve also met new friends and been exposed to music I probably never would have experienced otherwise. I truly hope that you will enjoy listening to people talk about albums they love and how those albums have impacted their lives.
